Amid the hustle and bustle of life we sometimes forget to center ourselves. We have so many tasks that inundate our daily routine. Even amid a pandemic, where most are compelled to slow down; we can still feel drained and exhausted. Being bombarded by television coverage of the COVID-19 crisis, screaming children, and microwave frequency, could cause more than just a little anxiety.
Sometimes all it takes to re-focus negative thoughts and diminish stress is a simple deep breath. No one else can take that deep breath for you. It is a singular, most personal thing. Take some time to center yourself by taking some nice deep breaths and bring your thoughts to rest on a positive note. Maybe on the idea that you can be grateful. Grateful to even have the opportunity to take that deep breath. Even if it means with a mask on your face.
